Written permission to use photos of children on website?

I have created a website containing baptism, confirmation, communion etc. photos. Do I need written permission to use these photos even if I already received verbal consent?

Some of these photos date back to the '80s, does written permission still apply even though the child is now an adult?

I do not see a problem if you

I do not see a problem if you have consent.

For the purposes of proof a written record is best but a verbal permission if capable of proof would suffice.

As to your second question I suppose it depends on the nature of the consent given years ago. If that consent can be interpreted as a consent for your current purpose then you should be OK.
