Will writers

Here is an extract from an e-mail received today.

"As discussed, this is a great opportunity for local based solicitor firms within the area of Wills and Probate to join our existing panel of solicitors. xxx provides a unique Will writing service across the country and due to increasing demand, needs to recruit 10 new panel solicitors.

Unlike some will writing companies, xxx are proud to say, that all our Will Consultants are working towards the national accredited BTEC qualifications from EDEXCEL and joining the Fellowship of Professional Will writers and Probate Practitioners (FPWPP). The FPWPP are a totally independent organisation that set the standards that xxx work to and membership to FPWPP is a condition of working for xxx

The role of an xxx panel firm will be focused on carrying out the administration on behalf of our clients (upon their death) on their estate by obtaining information quickly and by taking steps early in the process with xxx, which traditionally have been taken at a later stage.

As a part of our service, xxx offers its client the choice of a fixed administration fee which can range from [1% 1.75% 2.5 %].

The obvious advantage to our clients is our service guarantee’s our client that upon their death there Solicitor will not charge more than the agreed fee fixed fee.

This is a fantastic role that will benefit your firm with guaranteed work at no hidden cost or fees!

[xxx complies with the Solicitors' Introduction and Referral Code published by the Law Society and any solicitor to whom we may refer to is an independent professional from whom our client will receive impartial and confidential advice]"

Presumably this has been sent out to hundreds of firms.

What exactly is being offered by this will writing company who clearly has no knowledge of english grammar?

I think on this occasion I might have to pass on this "great opportunity".
