what would be the outcome?

Person A owns a paper mill and his heating system breaks down forcing him to lay off the workers. He entered a contract with person B to repair the problem. it needed to be done fast so work was agreed to be complete in 6 weeks however beacuse of problems with suppliers of materials it wasnt finished in this period. person B said he would install a temporary system allowing work at the mill to continue for half a day each day but person A refused it. Repairs took13 weeks and person A lost a lucrative contract and is now claiming damages for loss of profit

so what are your opinions

My opinion is that it sounds

My opinion is that it sounds like a coursework question.

If not, how much was the work worth? Could it have been done by someone else? How much in damages is being sought?
