Dear Jamthe ,
I have no experience or Knowledge of the law In North Carolina. As such i can make no informed comment on the advice you give although it would seem applicable to most Road Traffic Accidents (RTA`s ) wherever they may occur. Your post does however seem to be a very thinly veiled attempt at advertising the services of Charlotte lawyers, the link being to a particular firm in North Carolina.
Some of the advice unfortunately is probably not correct in all jurisdictions as the law in North Carolina does not apply as far as i know in the UK. For example there is no obligation to remain at the scene of an RTA until the Police arrive. Indeed, in most cases without serious injury, if details have been exchanged, you will find it hard to get the police to attend at all.The obigations will no doubt change depending on the jurisdiction.
What is clear is that someone involved in an RTA will often be bombarded by people only too willing to act if a possible compensation claim appears. It is at this point that you probably are best advised to step back and take a few moments to consider just who to get the best independant legal advice from and a local Solicitor or this forum would be a very good starting point.
This is not to say however that you should not use Charlotte personal injury lawyers.
