The Price of Milk

Was i half asleep, did I imagine it, or was there a TV programme last night about the price of Milk??...The reporter revealed that it costs Dairy farmers an Average of 28p to produce a litre of milk but our supermarkets pay them less than the production cost .The worst of all seems to have been Fair Trade CoOp who only pay 25p.
The prediction seems to be that we will be importing half of our milk each year by 2030 with two dairy farmers going out of business each day. I think i must have made this up in my sleep.

The presenter was outside a branch of Lidl highlighting the presence of a type of chemical fat in some of their products.
It was horrible.
I am going to give up eating for ever.
