Noticeboard in a Social Club
First off, a little bit of history.
As far as I have been told, Our club amalgamated with a local Royal British Legion Club. A few years after this happened, the Royal British Legion decided that they wanted to sell our clubhouse for development.
The chairman informed them that they couldn't sell it, since it didn't belong to them, and that all got settled.
A while later, either because of this or some as yet undiscovered part of the story (it wouldn't surprise me if they hadn't submitted a return or paid some particular fees) a letter was received stating that the club cannot have an RBL logo displayed on site. This letter has yet to be found, but I'm guessing that they were accusing us of passing off.
If another homeless RBL Club, that handles its own registration with the RBL wants to rent our hall Is there any way we can provide them with their own noticeboard?
I'm thinking maybe lease the space to them (maybe as part of the hall rental) and then hopefully we wouldn't get in trouble for the use of the RBL logo.
I know it all sounds a bit wooley but, Does anyone have any opinion on this?

Hi Zhadnost, If you lease the
Hi Zhadnost,
If you lease the hall to another RBL club then depending on the terms of that Lease they would generally be deemed to have a right to occupy and use the whole of the premises.
This would mean that they could erect their own notice board in the hall. If they have a license or some other form of agreement with the RBL which states that they can use the RBL logo then they would be able to display that logo wherever they like subject to the terms of the license or agreement. You would not get into trouble for displaying the logo because it would not be you that would be displaying it.
I think that this answers the question that you were asking but if you need any further information or I have misinterpreted the question please let me know.
