Model Club and Trust Problems

Hi there.

I wonder if anyone can help both myself and the members of the model aircraft club of which I am a member.

The club purchased some land for it's flying field back in the 1980's and a Trust was created to legally own that land. Unfortunately there has been a lot of conflict within the club recently and the Trustees have decided to ban members of the club from this field and have now started their own new club.

We are in contact with the national body of our hobby but it would be good to try and get some legal advice regarding our position. If anyone could give us advice we would be very grateful as we feel a great injustice has been carried out.

Thanks in advance.

It would depend on the terms

It would depend on the terms of the trust deed and what that says about who can use the land, and possibly the club rules.

if you send a copy of the trust deed we could have a look at it.

Hi Richard. Thank you for

Hi Richard. Thank you for your reply. I can certainly let you see a copy of the Trust Deed. I have scanned the document and can electronically send it to you if that is okay. If so can you please let me have your email address.

Just one more thing. How does this service work. Is it free or is this classed as an initial consultation.
