legal opinion on selling device with Android OS with pre-installed apps from Android Market...?

I have been posting questions on forums and I have been only getting opinons and not proven facts about it , so I came up with the idea of asking here.

*Do you happen to know  if it is possible for a manufacturer to sell a computer device with an Android OS with Pre-installed free android apps from the Android Market..?
Or would it be an issue with distribution rights?

If you do know, do you have any legal proofs that you could provide me with? (if there is any).

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Could you be more specific

2. What is "the Android Market"?

Hi, I take it that you are

Hi,

I take it that you are talking about an Android operating system and/or open source software and free apps from the android market.

If this is the case I would think that it will depend on what the license agreement governing the terms of use of both the operating system software and applications says as to whether a distributor or retailer can sell a device with the software preloaded.

Could you provide some more information to enable someone to provide a more comprehensive answer.

Dear Ian and Gerard   Hi,

Dear Ian and Gerard

Hi, this is Edamam.

Thank you very much for your feedbacks.

Ian- I tried a few times to post a reply on your comment (the answrs for two of your questions), but for some they never showed up here.. you didnt not see my reply, did you?    I am really sorry about this.. I hope this comment I am writing now shows ..

Gerard- That is excatly what I am saying.  We are basically trying to sell a Android operating system device with the applications from the Android Market (equivallent of iTunes store for Apple).     I was wondering what were the exact regulations on this matter.   -if it would be an issue or not.  But it sems to be a bit more complicated of a thing than a simple yes or no question.. I guess we need to make sure with each distributers...?

Thank you again for your help.

Best Regards,

Edamam
