Legal Job Rights

Hi. I am an Electrician and work as part of 'Housing Pendle'. I Have worked with the company for around 4 years. I am unsure about my legal rights, as how long i am legally allowed to work for. I work Monday to Friday, 9 hours per day. But although i am working these hours i am also on-call every 3 weeks for a full week. I am unsure whether it is legal to be 'on-call' (could get 'called out' at any time), and also on top of that still working 8 till 5. Give me answers please?
