Domain names and trademark law???

Hi there,

I'm setting up a website and have been looking at domain names. The best available is whichdogfood.co.uk but might that cause any legal issues with the which.co.uk group?

Any help would be much appreciated.

That domain name in my opinion would not cause you any trademark problems. I would buy this name immediatley as you have told everyone on here the name you intend to buy and someone else could quite easily register right from under your nose.

You need to check that the name you intend to call your website is not already a registered trade mark. This can be done at:

http://www.ipo.gov.uk/

Whether it would cuase problems with Which would depend on whether that is a registered Trade Mark belonging to Which.
