Divorce

One of my colleagues is going through a divorce, it seems to be that both his solicitor & ex-wife are dragging there heel's in finalising things, the decree absolute was completed in April this year. since then the ex has ignored two consent orders regarding the final settlement of house contents. His solicitor doesn't seem responsive to trying to finalise things.
This has been ongoing for a couple of years now including mediation in an attempt to reach an amicable settlement.
Can you offer any advise on this or the time scales that should/could be expected.

In response to your concerns
In response to your concerns the only way in which matters can be moved forward is for an application to be issued at court. The other party will then have to either confirm her agreement or the court will make a final order. The issue of whether there is a concluded agreement will be one of the issues that the court will need to address.
